What is the IAB?

The Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) has been established to facilitate industry partnerships and to advise the center on all aspects of operations, including strategic planning and research assessment.

Role of IAB Member

One of the primary roles of the IAB is to ensure that the research and development conducted at each university is in line with industry and government objectives.

IAB Meetings

IAB Meetings are held biyearly at various sponsor locations in the United States and internationally. The meetings allow for collaboration between various members, both academic and industrial, and the open sharing of research advancements in areas related to FRP composites. The meetings also allow the IAB an opportunity to ensure that the center's goals and research focus still align well with trends in industry and are being satisfactorily achieved. Through these invaluable meetings, CICI continues to develop strong relationships between its members and allow for feedback from industrial members.
